For an exhibition on Art Deco glass and Lucienne Bloch, the National Glass Museum in Leerdam, The Netherlands, invited artist Christie van der Haak to translate some of her designs into glass. With the help of Gert Bullée, a glass artist, her patterns were turned into several vases.
The museum wanted to display photos of the creative process as part of the exhibition. So, I spent the day at the workshop, capturing the creation of two vases from start to finish. This was an absolute dream because I love documenting people doing what they love.
Of course, I visited the exhibition to see how everything turned out. If you’re curious, you can read the short entry about my visit in my notebook.
