My only wish for your photos is that you see yourselves in them. So, I will always encourage you to be open with me and correct me when I get things wrong. Take this session for an example: as a young girl, I watched the film series about the life of Empress Sissi on repeat, so my vision of Vienna consisted mainly of the palace and beautiful dresses. When I shared this with my couple, they smiled and told me about the divide between high culture and low culture in Vienna. And that they belonged to the low culture.

My ideas about the beautiful high streets and designer clothes went straight out the window, and we exchanged them for the busy area around the Urania cinema and their favourite hoodies. And to be honest, I think the photos came out more beautiful because they were so much more comfortable with this than what I initially had in mind.
