I love starting your family portrait session in your home, as your living room is very much a reflection of your current life together. Over time, the playpen will no longer be needed, the toys and books will change, and you will play different types of games together. So, when I’m there, I’ll capture some of it for you to look back on in a little while.

Another reason why I love to start indoors is that you have some time to get used to being in front of the camera without having unfamiliar eyes on you. By the time we go outside, you won’t mind so much. All you have to do is be in the moment with your partner and children, doing whatever you feel like.
