Most of us develop an image of what a wedding should look like from the films we see and the handful of weddings we attend as children. But we don’t realise there isn’t one fixed way to celebrate a wedding. You literally get to do whatever you want — as long as you exchange vows in front of a celebrant at one point.

While this intimate wedding was created more out of necessity than from choice, it didn’t take anything away from the love and joy felt throughout the day. The couple got to spend time with their guests, enjoy wonderful food, and incorporate all the elements that were important to them: spending the morning with family and close friends, a balcony scene, portraits with the vintage car, a church ceremony, delicious food, and plenty of time to chat with their guests.
