Have you ever tried to find something out about your camera, read every article about your specific question, but still can’t figure out how to do it? You’re not alone. For a lot of photography related things, it works better to practice with someone who’s been where you are right now.

So, every other week, I open my studio space to everyone who wants to learn a bit more about photography. It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete novice or already know your camera inside out. The only thing I ask, is that you know where to find the ISO, F-stop and shutter speed settings on your camera, as I’m not an all-knowing camera expert.

This is not a course with a set program. Just drop-in whenever you have a question, even if it’s just one time. At the start of each class, we see what everyone wants to learn that afternoon, cluster similar themes, and we’ll take it from there.

Things I can help you with: camera settings, composition for landscape and food photography, the basics of portrait photography, and basic editing.

Some things to keep in mind: my studio space is quite simple, so all I can offer is tables and chairs, a kettle and herbal tea, and a toilet with a small sink. Anything you might need or want (including coffee, a camera, and materials to practice your photography), you have to bring yourself.

Classes are £25 per person. You can pay in advance through the link below, or at the start of the class. I accept both cash and card payments.
